About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the Workman Group’s early careers programmes and act as the primary contact for early careers cohorts
  • Coordinate annual onboarding, offers, first-day arrangements and induction activities
  • Respond to training queries and escalate complex issues
  • Track graduate and apprentice performance and support development conversations
  • Build relationships with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and other internal stakeholders
  • Support recruitment and coordinate and deliver Assessment Centres
  • Partner with hiring teams to assess candidates against competencies and role requirements
  • Coordinate logistics for a nationwide career fair roadshow
  • Schedule regular one-to-one catch-ups with early careers cohorts
  • Engage with the Early Careers Committee to gather feedback and share success stories
  • Liaise with Partners in Charge and line managers to align programmes and capture feedback
  • Coordinate training sessions, mock interviews, coursework and exam preparation with third-party training providers and apprenticeship partners
  • Liaise with UBE, RICS and other third parties to manage enrolments and resolve queries
  • Maintain the early careers master tracker and develop reporting capability
  • Support development and expansion of graduate and apprentice programmes in line with business needs, professional standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a learning and development or early careers advisor role
  • Experience of developing and maintaining early careers programmes
  • Understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy and its application in a business context
  • Proficiency in using learning platforms for administration and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with learners, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate training provider performance
  • Ability to collect and analyse data to support decision-making and compliance
  • Commercial awareness and ability to align programmes with business needs
