About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take ownership of data quality, accuracy and governance across Salesforce and other business systems
  • Work with large datasets and use advanced Excel to analyse trends, identify issues and produce meaningful insight
  • Analyse sales and commercial data to understand performance, trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Produce regular reporting, dashboards and analysis for commercial stakeholders
  • Present sales and performance insight directly to the BDE team
  • Help commercial teams understand and use data for better decisions
  • Investigate data issues and conduct root-cause analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve data processes, quality and reporting
  • Work with Salesforce data, reporting and governance
  • Use SQL/SOQL to extract and interrogate data
  • Support data flows between systems, including APIs, integrations and automated processes
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand data needs and translate complex information into clear, practical insight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Highly skilled in Excel
  • Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and Power Query
  • Confidence working with large and complex datasets
  • Experience in data quality, cleansing, validation and governance
  • Experience with Salesforce data and reporting
  • Experience with data triage, investigation and root-cause analysis
  • Experience with SQL/SOQL querying and data extraction
  • Experience with APIs, integrations and automated data processes
  • Experience building reports and dashboards
  • Experience analysing sales and commercial performance data
  • Experience presenting data and insight to commercial and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Plauti, Cloudingo, DemandTools or similar data quality/deduplication tools is desirable
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
