Project Manager, Dynamics 365 CRM Implementation
World Vision. Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 CRM implementation delivery from design and build through data migration, integration, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and handover .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 CRM implementation delivery from design and build through data migration, integration, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and handover
- Protect the critical path and agreed scope
- Prioritise next actions for internal teams and the implementation partner
- Lead data migration planning with data engineers
- Manage dependencies and secure business decisions, data ownership, and formal data-readiness acceptance
- Prepare Supporter Care, Fundraising, and Finance teams for adoption through training, transition communication, and business-readiness sign-off
- Provide technical delivery assurance across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform
- Identify design and quality concerns early and challenge unnecessary customisation
- Manage implementation partner accountability, finances, governance, budgets, forecasts, invoices, and reporting
- Lead stabilisation and handover to business as usual
- Establish clear support ownership and a prioritised backlog of unresolved or deferred work
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one full CRM implementation led from a legacy system through to go-live
- Experience leading complex data migration
- Technical understanding sufficient to assess CRM design and quality and challenge delivery approaches
- Experience managing budgets of $1M or more
- Experience holding implementation partners accountable
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot
- Sound judgement and ability to lead a complex CRM implementation
- Ability to build trust quickly, listen well, and communicate clearly and briefly
- Current entitlement to work in New Zealand
- Applicants will undergo appropriate screening, including police vetting
- Hands-on Dynamics 365 configuration, especially testing and validation, is nice to have
- Experience with communication preference and consent management, recurring payments, or PCI-DSS is nice to have
