About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct supervisory personnel within the assigned functional area
Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
Monitor and administer discipline or corrective action for subordinates
Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
Act as liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management
Monitor assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations standards
Maintain and control operational requirements in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation
Ensure required company audits are completed for continuity and compliance
Read, understand, and clarify implementation of the site-specific security plan
Ensure WFS staff receive and display relevant company identification badges
Administer practices fairly and equitably for employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties
Read and interpret employee handbooks, supervisors' manuals, union contracts, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and airline policy manuals
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, and customers
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Interpret written, oral, diagrammed, and scheduled instructions
Perform responsibilities specific to the assigned shift

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two to five years of previous management or specialist supervisory experience in field service duties
College degree or equivalent experience
Airline pricing experience
Ability to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and days off
Familiarity with personal computer software helpful
Independent judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and oral communication skills
Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment and hold necessary licensing, if applicable
Regular and timely attendance
