About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct supervisory personnel within the assigned functional area
Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
Monitor and administer discipline and corrective action for subordinates
Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
Liaise between first-level supervisors and upper management
Proactively monitor assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee-relations standards
Maintain and control operational requirements under the corporate security program and TSA legislation
Ensure required company audits are completed for continuity and compliance
Read, understand, clarify, and implement the site-specific security plan
Ensure WFS staff receive and display relevant company identification badges
Administer practices fairly and equitably while treating employees, customers, vendors, and third parties with respect

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two to five years' previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service duties
College degree or equivalent experience
Airline pricing experience
Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret employee handbooks, supervisors' manuals, union contracts, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and airline policy and procedures manuals
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, and customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
Ability to operate equipment and hold necessary licensing, if applicable
Ability to perform shift-specific responsibilities
Regular and punctual attendance
Ability to remain stationary 50% of the time and perform office-based physical activities, including lifting/moving objects up to 10 pounds
