About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct supervisory personnel within the assigned functional area
Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
Monitor and administer discipline/corrective action for subordinates
Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
Act as liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management
Monitor assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee-relations standards
Maintain and control operational requirements in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation
Ensure required company audits are undertaken for continuity and compliance
Read, understand and clarify implementation of the site-specific security plan
Ensure WFS staff receive and display relevant company identification badges
Apply practices fairly and equitably to employees, customers, vendors and other third parties
Read and interpret handbooks, manuals, union contracts, business periodicals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and airline policies
Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients and customers
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Interpret written, oral, diagrammatic and schedule-based instructions
Perform specific responsibilities related to the assigned shift

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two to five years of previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service duties
College degree or equivalent experience
Airline pricing experience
Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off
Familiarity with personal computer software helpful
Independent judgment and decision-making skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment and hold necessary licensing, if applicable
Reports to work on a regular and timely basis
