About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct Leads and Agents within the assigned functional area
  • Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
  • Monitor and administer discipline and corrective action for subordinates
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
  • Act as liaison between Leads/Agents and upper management
  • Monitor assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards
  • Ensure practices are administered fairly and equitably
  • Retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
  • Write routine reports and correspondence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; six months to one year of related experience and/or a combination of education or experience
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to maintain site access and work scheduled shifts
  • Ability to follow directions and work safely
  • Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to learn and apply PC skills
  • Ability to read and interpret rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
  • Regular and timely attendance
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds
  • Preferred: excellent interpersonal skills and prior supervisory experience
  • Preferred: analytical skills and comfort with data, computation, and analytical methods
  • Preferred: strong experience in a related role with another logistics company or airline
