About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct Leads and Agents within the assigned functional area
- Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
- Monitor and administer discipline or corrective action for subordinates
- Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
- Act as liaison between Leads/Agents and upper management
- Proactively monitor assigned employees' work to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards
- Ensure practices are administered fairly and equitably, treating employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties with respect
- Retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
- Report to work regularly and on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; six months to one year of related experience and/or a combination of education or experience
- Computer skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to maintain site access and work scheduled shifts
- Must be able to follow directions and work safely
- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to learn and apply PC skills
- Ability to read and interpret rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds
- Excellent interpersonal skills and prior supervisory experience preferred
- Analytical skills and comfort with data, computation, and analytical methods preferred
- Strong related-role experience with another logistics company or airline preferred
