About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Streamline all aspects of the cargo and baggage transportation process
Prepare the safest and most efficient method of loading aircraft
Ensure cargo and baggage are safely loaded onto aircraft in the most efficient manner
Create load plans that minimize shipping time, expedite routes, and maximize cargo loads
Prepare and enter loading instructions and manifests in the software system
File all post-departure paperwork

Requirements

Load Planner/Weight and Balance Certification
TSA - Cargo Security Awareness
TSA - Acceptance
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with no exceptions
Ability to step up to an above-ground level
Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
Ability to handle high-noise environments
Problem analysis skills
Situation awareness
Ability to deconstruct problems and systematically investigate components
Teamwork skills
Written expression skills
