About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Load and unload air freight containers
Move containers from airplanes to trucks for on-time delivery
Move Express packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks in a cross-dock operation with no or minimal storage
Work in or around aircraft and in an open-air, non-temperature-controlled indoor facility
Contribute to the timely delivery of Express packages and cargo shipments
Operate safely and securely in varying weather conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent required
Valid driver's license
1 year of forklift experience required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays
Peak season (November-December) may require longer hours
Ability to read, write and understand the English language
Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without the assistance of sight or visual aids
Ability to successfully communicate with others
Ability to judge distances
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day
Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind and snow
Ability to stand for an entire shift and move long distances across facilities by foot
