About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate all activities during aircraft turnaround to ensure compliance with the Turnaround Plan and safety regulations
  • Conduct aircraft arrival and departure visual inspections and complete required checklists
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures for turnaround personnel
  • Report and document incidents, accidents, irregularities, and airline-required paperwork
  • Confirm with the Ramp Supervisor that loading is complete and aircraft holds are clear
  • Communicate applicable flight information to the Captain and allocate delay reason codes as necessary
  • Manage disruptions to the Turnaround Plan and ensure smooth coordination
  • Complete CLC planning, Movement of Aircraft reports, and relevant flight reports
  • Adhere to WFS site security protocols and report security concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in flight operations or ground handling
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong leadership, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to complete checklists and paperwork accurately
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have and maintain a valid US driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow
  • Ability to work in a high-noise environment with proper hearing protection
  • Must be able to climb, reach, and work in confined spaces as required
  • Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
