About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and support ramp agents in daily operations
- Train and demonstrate proper work and safety procedures
- Assign and schedule work tasks to maintain efficiency
- Monitor and analyze work methods and outcomes
- Identify and report operational issues to management
- Assist with the effective use of tools, equipment, and materials
- Ensure compliance with site security procedures
- Report security breaches, suspicious activity, or policy violations
- Serve as a key operational contact for efficiency and issue resolution
- Support safe and efficient aircraft handling, baggage loading, and ground support services
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid US driver's license
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 70 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to work in a high-noise environment with proper hearing protection
- Must be able to climb, reach, and work in confined spaces
- Prior Ramp Agent or similar airline ground operations experience preferred
- Proficiency with airline operations or baggage tracking systems preferred
- Familiarity with airline safety regulations, ground handling procedures, and aircraft servicing preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and work under pressure preferred
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Ability to train and mentor team members effectively preferred
