About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct supervisory personnel within the assigned functional area
Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
Monitor and administer discipline and corrective action for subordinates
Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
Act as liaison between first-level supervisors and upper management
Proactively monitor assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee-relations standards are met or exceeded
Maintain and control operational requirements in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation
Ensure required company audits are completed for continuity and compliance
Read, understand, and clarify implementation of the site-specific security plan
Ensure WFS staff are issued and display relevant company identification badges
Administer practices fairly and equitably, treating employees, customers, vendors, and third parties with respect
Perform responsibilities specific to the assigned shift

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two to five years of previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service duties
College degree or equivalent experience
Airline pricing experience
Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off
Familiarity with personal computer software helpful
Independent judgment and decision-making skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment and hold necessary licensing, if applicable
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret employee handbooks, supervisors manuals, union contracts, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and airline policy and procedures manuals
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, and customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-form instructions
