About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver company, regulatory, carrier, and practical training to new hires and tenured employees in individual or group settings
- Create training milestones and training plans
- Conduct skill needs assessments to identify skill and knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and policy or procedure changes
- Observe employees to evaluate training effectiveness and ensure additional training requirements are fulfilled
- Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures
- Report unsafe activities to the supervisor and Safety Manager
- Maintain training rosters and records in accordance with training and recordkeeping requirements
- Liaise with airline customer training leadership programs to ensure compliance
- Audit customer-specific training against WFS training requirements
- Coordinate weekly service level agreement discussions with WFS leadership responsible for customer leadership teams
- Coordinate reporting and weekly reviews of customer-specific training compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at a variety of management levels, identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies in a global environment
- 2 years in Ground Handling or Passenger Service/Ramp Training
- SAL Certified
- Currently or previously TTT Certified with at least one commercial airline
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use a computer and applicable MS Office software
- Ability to work with little or no supervision and alone or as part of a dynamic team
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects for up to 2 hours per day
