About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership to the TPM team within AD/ADAS, delivering data and validation initiatives from concept through production
Define and align priorities, ownership, dependencies, milestones, and execution plans
Establish roles, accountability mechanisms, operating standards, measurable objectives, and KPIs
Coach team members and track delivery performance, stakeholder alignment, execution quality, and continuous improvement
Identify and mitigate risks affecting program timelines, quality, or efficiency; develop contingency plans
Communicate program updates, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders
Guide multidisciplinary engineering development across Engineering, Product, Hardware, Software, and Operations
Advance design, validation, failure analysis, and pass/fail criteria
Drive accountability, resolve conflicts, remove execution barriers, escalate decisions, and mobilize solutions
Build and scale program management, validation, and release processes across multiple teams and regions
Partner with stakeholders to align priorities, technical decisions, and customer expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of professional program management experience in AD/ADAS
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing engineers within complex AD/ADAS programs
Proven track record leading end-to-end program execution, including integrated data, validation, and release execution of AD/ADAS products
Strong program management capability delivering complex software, machine-learning, and systems programs within AD/ADAS
Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to inspire and motivate internal and external teams
Experience with Japan is preferred
Strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, skilled collaboration, and bias toward action and outcomes
Experience in Machine Learning and building data-driven systems is preferred
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience developing autonomy features for L2/L4 systems
Proficiency in Business level Japanese
PMP/PMI or other Project Management certifications are welcome
