About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform business case analysis with multiple departments and vendors to support operational and financial goals
Analyze operational metrics, financial information, and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and improvement areas
Support management of financial reports, spending, invoices, and other financial activities
Provide management guidance on financial matters, spending guidelines, budget adherence, metric goals, and performance
Perform mathematical calculations and financial ratio analysis
Create and facilitate data mining, reporting, data visualization, and analysis using multiple data sources
Develop reporting to evaluate operational initiatives, enhance customer experience, and drive operational efficiencies
Partner with stakeholders to ensure business data is accurate, available, and timely
Maintain data integrity and ensure reporting requirements are met
Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and analytical tools
Translate complex technical and financial information into meaningful insights
Evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend performance and efficiency solutions
Analyze complex operational issues and provide data-driven recommendations
Manage projects from initiation through completion while coordinating stakeholders and priorities
Support vendor relationships from reporting, financial, and invoicing perspectives
Collaborate across departments and business partners to gather information, solve problems, and deliver analytical insights
Serve as a trusted analytical resource for management and business stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–3 years of related financial management or business analysis experience
Experience analyzing operational and financial data and translating findings into actionable recommendations
Experience managing projects and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of financial metrics, calculations, ratios, budgets, and business performance
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain technical and financial information to non-technical and non-financial audiences
Strong understanding of business operations and ability to connect operational performance to financial results
Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex spreadsheets for financial and operational applications
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Occasional travel for business purposes may be required
