About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable generative AI services and applications using Python and modern frameworks
- Build and optimize high-performance, low-latency APIs and microservices integrating advanced AI models and agentic workflows
- Make system design decisions and own architecture of core platform components from proposal through production deployment
- Implement and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Communicate changes, plans, and proposals to cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers
- Partner with DevOps teams to build continuous deployment, logging, and monitoring systems
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability across distributed workloads
- Report to an engineering director or senior engineering manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer, with a strong emphasis on Python development in production environments
- Proven expertise building and deploying generative AI applications
- Experience leveraging LLMs, vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector, and modern open-source agentic frameworks
- Practical experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Solid grasp of FastAPI, Asyncio, PostgreSQL, and AI developer tooling such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
- Exposure to enterprise architecture, including IAM, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, security best practices, or enterprise administration and billing systems
- Collaborative approach and ability to mentor other engineers
- Proactive approach to complex technical challenges and innovative improvements
- Accountability for delivering high-quality, resilient, and scalable code from conception to production
- Ability and willingness to work in person 3 days per week
- Legally authorized to work in the country in which the job is located
