About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the technical subject matter expert and sounding board for Azure and other cloud solution questions and decisions
- Bridge the IT Infrastructure and IT Applications teams by integrating application development and IT infrastructure using Microsoft technologies
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and Terraform Infrastructure as Code practices
- Ensure solutions follow vendor best practices for performance, cost, data protection, and security
- Help develop technology roadmaps covering lifecycle planning, capacity planning, obsolescence, support availability, and vendor roadmaps
- Perform root cause analysis to recover from service interruptions and prevent recurring problems
- Create and maintain clear documentation for managed services and applications
- Ensure systems and architecture comply with security standards, policies, and risk guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience as a cloud systems administrator or comparable experience
- 3+ years’ experience managing and designing Azure environments
- 3+ years’ experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- 3+ years’ Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
- Advanced knowledge of Azure and its integration with other Microsoft cloud based solutions
- Advanced working knowledge of Azure DevOps & CI/CD best practices
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with application development pipelines and integration with IT Infrastructure
- Self-starter, take charge, highly motivated, positive demeanor and able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Comfortable presenting to large groups and expert at explaining technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies
- Experience with the legal vertical preferred
- BA preferred
- Microsoft AZ-400 certification preferred
- Functional understanding of Logic Apps and Function Apps integration with IT Infrastructure
- Experience with Power Platform, Foundry, Graph API, Logic Apps, and Function Apps
- Experience managing O365 services
- Experience with AI technologies such as Copilot or Claude
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and its integration with other components within an Azure tenant
- Experience planning and designing lifecycle projects
