About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across diverse roles and business areas
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to leaders and hiring managers
  • Understand operations, projects, teams and talent challenges
  • Translate workforce requirements into effective recruitment strategies
  • Oversee recruitment from briefing and attraction through to offer
  • Build diverse talent pipelines for intern and professional hiring
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, direct sourcing and other channels
  • Create job advertisements and conduct candidate screening
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive candidate experience
  • Develop and maintain external talent networks across Swiss engineering, consulting, construction and infrastructure markets
  • Provide knowledge of the external talent landscape, competitors and candidate pools
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates
  • Represent WSP across the Swiss market
  • Support employer branding initiatives, career fairs, early-career engagement and recruitment campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Central Europe Talent Acquisition team
  • Share knowledge and best practices, contribute to process improvements and shape innovative recruitment approaches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Executive Search experience, ideally within engineering, consulting, construction, infrastructure or another technical/professional services environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Confidence and maturity to partner with senior leaders and operational managers
  • Strong business curiosity and ability to understand operational environments, projects and technical talent requirements
  • Established network within the Swiss talent market
  • Strong knowledge of relevant candidate markets and competitors
  • Strong track record in proactive/direct sourcing and headhunting, including engaging passive candidates
  • Ability to provide market intelligence and talent insights
  • Strong experience in employer branding and/or representing an organisation externally at professional events, universities, career fairs or industry networks
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to an international Talent Acquisition team
  • Fluent German and English (mandatory)
  • French language skills are a strong asset
  • Role based in Zurich, Berne or Luzern, Switzerland
