About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with consultants and clients to design work and rewards programs that attract, reward, and retain talent
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to provide market pay benchmarking and strategic insights
  • Analyze rewards program designs and practices using WTW data, tools, and processes
  • Model pay structures and conduct financial impact analyses of alternative designs
  • Develop, analyze, and calibrate executive and broad-based incentive plan designs
  • Draft reports and exhibits presenting analytical work to client audiences
  • Perform industry and financial research
  • Participate in client meetings and working sessions
  • Assist with proposals and client-specific business development efforts
  • Build understanding of client solutions, digital platforms, and AI applications
  • Cultivate internal and client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Gain exposure to compensation benchmarking, base pay programs, job leveling and architecture, incentive design, pay equity, pay-for-performance, career and talent management, M&A support, and total rewards strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Progress towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business-oriented field or another major with significant quantitative coursework
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Graduation with a bachelor’s or master’s degree between May 2026 and June 2027
  • Work experience demonstrating strong analytical and client service skills, such as internships or part-time jobs involving quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Interest in Careers and Compensation demonstrated through work experience, coursework, and/or research assignments
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a close team environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including analyzing data and interpreting, summarizing, and presenting findings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Basic familiarity with GenAI platforms
  • Local to and able to commute to the New York office for this hybrid position
  • Legally authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without visa sponsorship
