About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in WTW’s 17-month, non-rotational CRB Graduate Development Program
  • Complete a 1-week orientation and robust onboarding training covering CRB functions
  • Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks
  • Support placement of client risks into the insurance market
  • Create Loss Summaries
  • Review program binders and policies for accuracy
  • Assist brokers and senior brokers
  • Prepare and finalize submission documents
  • Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons
  • Prepare program proposals
  • Develop client and prospect presentations
  • Assist with Client Renewal Strategy Meeting and RFP deliverables
  • Research market solutions and develop optimum risk solutions
  • Facilitate initial introductions to carriers and trading partners
  • Develop understanding of insurance principles and brokerage concepts
  • Follow quality and compliance procedures
  • Accurately record and maintain information in appropriate systems, including the Broking Platform
  • Analyze exposures, work through risk models, and negotiate quotations with support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Preferred majors include Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Liberal Arts, Geology, Environmental Geology, and Sociology
  • Graduation date between May 2026 and May 2027
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong time and task management skills
  • Ability to take direction, receive constructive feedback, and deliver accurate work
  • Relationship management and customer focus
  • Ability to interface with customers and collaborate internally with teammates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach

  • Proficient in time management
  • Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship
  • Obtain the required insurance license within 90 days of hire
  • Obtain and maintain an active surplus lines license for the resident state within the specified 120-day timeframe
