About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work beside industry-leading Health and Benefits consultants
  • Gain immediate exposure to real client assignments
  • Analyze data, draw conclusions, and present results
  • Participate in twice-weekly learning and networking sessions with Health and Benefits colleagues, leaders, and other WTW business teams
  • Support the development and implementation of new client strategies and solutions
  • Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts
  • Perform financial analyses, including pricing, employee contribution strategies, and plan design alternative modeling
  • Gain specialized knowledge in pharmacy, life and disability insurance, health equity and wellbeing, vendor placement, actuarial and analytics
  • Evaluate survey responses and vendor proposals
  • Work with colleagues at all levels and clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to mid-sized and smaller organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human capital/human resource management, health economics, risk management & insurance, business management, marketing and finance, actuarial science, advanced mathematics, or another major with significant quantitative work
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • For Actuarial students: Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is beneficial
  • Prior internship or other work experience demonstrating increasing levels of complex work, autonomy, and client service skills
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a close team environment
  • Resourceful, creative, and inquisitive
  • Accountability and ownership of work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Local to and able to commute to the San Francisco office
  • Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship
  • Expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree between December 2027 and June 2028
