About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and implementation of new client strategies and solutions
- Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts
- Perform financial analyses, including pricing, employee contribution strategies, and plan design modeling
- Gain specialized knowledge in pharmacy, life and disability insurance, health equity and wellbeing, vendor placement, actuarial/analytics, and related areas
- Evaluate survey responses and vendor proposals
- Work on real client assignments and present results
- Participate in twice-weekly learning and networking sessions with Health and Benefits colleagues and leaders
- Collaborate with colleagues across client service, financial, actuarial, and analytics functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human capital/human resource management, health economics, risk management & insurance, business management, marketing and finance, actuarial science, advanced mathematics, or another major with significant quantitative work
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is beneficial for actuarial students
- Prior internship or other work experience demonstrating increasing levels of complex work, autonomy, and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a close team environment
- Problem-solving and solution-sharing mindset
- Resourceful, creative, and inquisitive
- Sense of accountability and ownership of work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Local to and able to commute to the Atlanta office
- Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship
- Expected graduation with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree between December 2027 and June 2028
