About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research investment managers and strategies, organize findings, and help compare potential investment ideas
- Analyze portfolio or performance information using spreadsheets and internal tools
- Support preparation of reports and presentation materials for client meetings
- Participate in team discussions and contribute questions, observations, and ideas
- Work alongside consultants, researchers, portfolio managers, and other investment professionals
- Support projects for institutional investors through real client and research work
- Gain exposure to investment advice delivery and client relationship management
- Participate in training, mentoring, broader team initiatives, and thought leadership projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the confirmed graduation window
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- No specific major required
- Must be local and able to work from Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Chicago, or New York at least three days per week
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must not rely on student visas, CPT, OPT, H-1B, TN, or other temporary work authorizations unless another valid authorization will be available when they expire
- Curiosity about financial markets and eagerness to learn
- Analytical and thoughtful approach to problem-solving
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate, stay organized, and follow through on commitments
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and presentations, or willingness to develop these skills
- Interest in pursuing the CFA is desired
