About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide case-management support for Employee Relations investigations involving workplace investigations, Title IX, BOG Rule 1.6, the Code of Conduct, and related processes
  • Maintain accurate, complete, confidential, and audit-ready investigation case files, databases, and records
  • Generate correspondence, manage documentation, track deadlines, and support timely case closure
  • Review interview transcripts and case documentation for completeness, formatting, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Prepare investigation notices, correspondence, case summaries, timelines, evidence and interview materials, reports, and related documentation
  • Track investigation timelines, procedural requirements, action items, and case status; provide leadership updates
  • Support informal-resolution and employee-concern processes through documentation, scheduling, communications, and follow-up
  • Retrieve and organize records for FOIA/public-records requests, General Counsel, leadership, audits, and authorized inquiries
  • Maintain case-management templates, procedures, checklists, and tracking tools; compile data and assist with reports, metrics, trends, and process improvements
  • Manage Employee Relations intake channels, respond to general inquiries, and route concerns appropriately
  • Provide general procedural information regarding investigations, Employee Relations discipline procedures, Title IX, and related processes
  • Connect employees, students, supervisors, and stakeholders with campus and community resources
  • Coordinate Title IX advisor assignments, meetings, hearings, notices, materials, technology, accessibility needs, communications, and logistics
  • Maintain confidential Title IX case, hearing, and advisor-assignment records and monitor deadlines
  • Support performance management, corrective actions, probationary reviews, non-renewals, limited-term appointments, FSAP referrals, terminations, and related processes
  • Coordinate employment actions with Shared Services, Benefits, Payroll, and authorized stakeholders
  • Liaise with third-party contracting or staffing agencies regarding employment-practice questions and documentation
  • Compile and organize Employee Relations discipline, performance, workplace-conflict, and related process data
  • Assist with training materials, templates, process guides, special projects, and backup intake/HR representative duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in program management
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment in sensitive, unique, and unpredictable situations
  • Sensitivity and ability to discern appropriate action in high-risk, personal, and emotionally charged situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and confidential environment
  • Ability to provide high-level administrative support, multitask, and prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize workload with close attention to detail, manage multiple tasks and timelines, and make appropriate decisions following university policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidential information when dealing with sensitive, complex Human Resources issues
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment
