About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the Office of Administration within the Health Affairs Institute
  • Develop comprehensive reports on ongoing programs and submit monthly summary reports to management
  • Build positive relations within the team and with external parties
  • Maintain updated records and create reports or proposals for Health Affairs Institute leadership
  • Ensure accurate implementation of policies and practices associated with state-funded awards
  • Maintain updated program contact information
  • Research and share funding opportunities with public and private stakeholders
  • Assist with program audits as needed
  • Attend DoHS, public, and program meetings as needed
  • Develop and recommend new or revised program goals and objectives
  • Maintain budgets and track expenditures/transactions
  • Conduct and/or review query analysis
  • Provide project management, including meeting minutes, agendas, scheduling, and calendar management
  • Oversee daily operations, coordinate program activities, and determine priorities
  • Develop and/or facilitate workshops, meetings, or conferences and coordinate logistics, scheduling, and participant communications
  • Coordinate activities according to established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations, and other specifications
  • Track and report project milestones
  • Assist with contract and subcontract issues
  • Work onsite to support projects as needed
  • Receive and sort mail/surveys
  • Count and deposit funds as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Office Administration or similar
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
  • Relevant experience with grants
  • Experience with healthcare funding
  • Knowledge and understanding of state Departments of Health and Human Services programs
  • Excellent organizational, verbal/written communications, and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
  • Ability to interface with various levels of state personnel
  • Valid Driver's License
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment
