About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Train and refine Grok’s voice and language capabilities in Amharic
  • Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary tools
  • Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Amharic
  • Produce clear, natural audio data capturing intonation, rhythm, accent, and other linguistic and prosodic details
  • Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Amharic proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher
  • English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher
  • No visa sponsorship is provided
  • US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois
  • Ability to work standard business hours in the local time zone for full-time positions
  • Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be required
