About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of AI Tutors responsible for delivering training data and evaluations for SpaceXAI models
Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned Human Data projects
Personally review domain work for accuracy, consistency, guideline adherence, and quality at scale
Lead, coach, and performance-manage AI Tutors, including reviews, records, action plans, shadow sessions, and continuous improvement
Oversee and participate in labeling and reviewing tasks
Manage taxonomies and quality assurance processes
Identify operational bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and track KPIs through dashboards
Build, update, and deliver training materials, practice tasks, and certification benchmarks
Manage certifications and workforce adjustments
Collaborate with Human Data Managers, Team Leads, and Engineering on labeling strategies and requirements
Coach and develop talent while supporting accountability, performance culture, and disciplinary actions
Document outcomes and report project status, risks, and results
Represent tutors and foster collaboration across the Human Data organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of hands-on experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training/evaluation, content quality, or similar operational domains
Professional experience building scalable, high-performance technology applications
Experience with data quality metrics, annotation processes, and guideline-driven workflows
Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and how high-quality training data impacts model performance
Experience with performance management, coaching, training program development, and certification frameworks
Candidates must be based in one of the listed countries where SpaceXAI has a physical office; remote work is also possible
Preferred: experience leading small teams in data labeling, annotation, or related operations
Preferred: proficiency in data analysis and associated tools; SQL is a plus
Preferred: experience managing mixed employment types or distributed teams
Preferred: specialty or strong domain expertise in Finance, STEM, Coding/Software Engineering, or other technical fields
