About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and coordinate category sourcing strategies aligned with business stakeholder priorities
  • Analyze contracts, supply and demand, market and commodity trends, total cost of ownership, and should-cost modeling
  • Recommend category strategies and monitor industry information, trends, and supplier risk profiles
  • Support development and execution of sourcing events, including proposal evaluation and supplier selection
  • Lead tier II and support tier I supplier performance and relationship management
  • Develop supplier plans, scorecards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support strategic contract negotiations and lead negotiations in some instances
  • Ensure contract processes are followed and records are retained
  • Monitor compliance across buying channels, suppliers, and contract purchasing execution
  • Coordinate supplier disputes and contract adjustments
  • Develop risk management strategies and administer category contract agreements with Legal and Security
  • Support category and project plan development for Supply Chain strategy implementation
  • Maintain partner relationships and support change management efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, business, or related technical/analytical field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Requires three years of supply chain experience
  • Proficient in contract formation, negotiation, and execution
  • Willing to pursue Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent
  • Required to attend meetings across the region
  • Up to 10% travel is required
  • Previous experience with construction operations and project management preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with purchasing and sourcing systems strongly preferred
