About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the system administrator for financial/accounting systems and maintain and update financial master data
  • Document and maintain procedures, process guides, and supporting materials to enhance consistency and compliance
  • Access, manage, transfer, integrate, and analyze complex datasets
  • Develop, manage, and support automation projects
  • Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders
  • Gather and analyze data, create visual insights, and support dashboards and collaboration tools
  • Assist with automation and process improvement projects that transform manual work and support internal business needs
  • Work with cross-functional teams, IT partners, and internal customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Student, Junior status (as of Fall 2027) or higher
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, computer information systems, management information systems, business computer information systems, or a related technology or business field
  • Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
  • Able to commute to the designated work location in-person, per the hybrid work policy
  • 3.0 GPA (out of a 4.0 scale) or higher
  • Completed 2 years of undergraduate coursework
  • Experience or proficiency with data analytics tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in the energy/utility sector
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining data accuracy
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Claude, MS Office (especially Excel), Power Platform
