Key responsibilities & impact

Lead work within or across the end-to-end solution lifecycle
Ensure IT solutions meet business needs, support business strategy, and operate soundly
Provide in-depth knowledge of business needs, business processes, and corresponding solutions
Provide technical guidance with cross-organizational team members to align solutions with architecture and IT strategy
Serve as a key contact for business, customer, and stakeholder groups within the domain
Partner with business areas, customers, and stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities
Represent stakeholders in strategic planning and investment prioritization
Establish collaborative partnerships with internal partners
Coach and direct less experienced team members
Participate in Demand Management preparation
Lead and support delivery lifecycle activities
Ensure solutions provide strong user experience and operational performance
Facilitate delivery meetings and ceremonies
Lead analysis and design
Prepare plans, demos, artifacts, and procedural documentation
Ensure solutions are designed for stable operation
Review solution performance and assess system and process health
Drive actions to avoid service disruption and minimize impacts
Align stakeholders on maintenance activities and schedules
Monitor industry and technology trends to improve solution delivery practices and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field, or 4 years of experience equivalent to the position
Seven years of related functional experience
Experience with project or product delivery practices, including SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall
Ability to recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs
Ability to drive continuous improvement through lean and agile practices
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end process and system capabilities, industry standards, and emerging technologies and methods
Strong understanding of technical, functional, and operational details of respective solutions
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to build functional and technical subject matter expertise, process expertise, and tools expertise
In-depth knowledge or ability to quickly attain expertise on core IT components within the respective domain
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between technical and non-technical concepts
Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills, with a track record of working cross-organizationally to drive innovation and business results
Preferred: project management experience creating and revising complex software development project plans
Preferred: experience leading status meetings, issue resolution meetings, and design sessions
Preferred: experience summarizing key decisions, issues, and risks
Preferred: experience working in person, with remote teams, and via email
Preferred: infrastructure, systems, and lifecycle governance experience
Preferred: IT financial governance, vendor sourcing, contract compliance, invoicing, accruals, purchasing, and vendor performance oversight
