About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and coordinate daily work plans to use resources effectively and efficiently
  • Create and maintain daily work plans and crew rosters
  • Adjust schedules and assign crews for priority tasks based on resource availability, scheduling conflicts, and real-time progress reports
  • Generate work orders and complete job closeout of work packets in various systems
  • Analyze exception reports to verify labor and equipment charged to work, job, trouble, and miscellaneous orders
  • Request locates, order materials, coordinate other utilities, and schedule specialized equipment
  • Provide backup to other Operations Work Coordinators and Associate positions
  • Maintain data integrity in systems used for work execution, asset management, and scheduling
  • Reconcile completed work packets and compare as-builts to completed work
  • Work with local supervisors and stakeholder groups to maximize productivity, utilization, and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years related experience in the construction, design, maintenance or operations area (utility experience preferred)
  • Good understanding of regular work functions including work order management, payroll, invoicing, materials, compliance, policies, and safety
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities meeting customer and/or internal stakeholder requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools
  • Ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools
  • Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software applications, including Microsoft products, work management, mapping, and scheduling/project management tools
