Develop investment, operational, market, and strategic growth recommendations
Support long-term planning aligned with company, regulatory, and public policy goals

Develop asset life-cycle analyses and emerging technology analytics
Integrate innovation into regional asset portfolios through cross-functional teamwork
Use asset economic models to evaluate plant investments across Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Gas, Chilled Water, and Thermal businesses
Advise Operations, Regulatory, and executive leadership on asset financial and operational characteristics
Quantify portfolio risk and recommend strategies to increase portfolio value
Provide project management support for strategic asset portfolio initiatives
Develop discovery responses and written testimony for regulatory proceedings
Support cost modeling tools with accurate asset data and analysis
Improve production cost modeling and asset market offers
Mentor and guide Sr. Asset Analysts
Serve as a resource on modeling, decision analysis, regulatory issues, industry knowledge, and system knowledge
Handle the most difficult analytical assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, economics, accounting, engineering, or a technical field with an advanced degree in finance or a related field
8 years of financial modeling experience in a utility or similar industry
Strong business/financial acumen
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly in written formats and presentations
Detail-oriented and self-starter
Ability to work independently and in groups
Ability to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
