  • Protect field crews by enforcing safety rules, checking work sites, and stopping unsafe actions
  • Analyze site safety processes and operations to identify early indicators of potential future incidents
  • Address issues and eliminate risks
  • Travel to job sites and perform safety audits for hazards and policy compliance
  • Halt jobs immediately when workers face danger or ignore safety protocols
  • Provide safety orientations, Job Safety Analysis trainings, LOTO trainings, and crew safety talks
  • Ensure teams properly inspect tools, equipment, and PPE
  • Lead investigations for near-misses, injuries, or property damage and write reports
  • Perform Site JSA Audits and provide feedback to site teams
  • Check site morale and safety mindset
  • Inspect employee and site PPE and company vehicles for expiration dates and policy compliance
  • Track Greenflash site safety metrics, including personnel, hours worked, injuries, first aid, near misses, property damage, vehicle incidents, and safety observations
  • Monitor contractor safety execution, orientations, work permits, and task-specific controls
  • Track corrective actions, verify completion, and escalate unresolved or recurring hazards
  • Communicate significant hazards and incidents to CES and Greenflash
  • Provide monthly findings, corrective-action status, and safety metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Comfortable working at locations outside their home area
  • Willingness to travel to new sites as part of the regular schedule
  • Active participation in CES safety programs
  • Ability and obligation to stop work believed to be unsafe or unclear
  • Professionalism, positivity, and strong client representation
  • Attention to detail and thoughtful planning
  • Proper care and maintenance of equipment
  • Compliance with OSHA rules, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and NFPA 70E electrical safety guidelines
  • Subject to periodic random drug testing, and post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing, to the extent permitted by law
