Define, implement, and support advanced analytics solutions and capabilities
Integrate, analyze, and wrangle data to solve business problems
Manipulate and analyze complex datasets using a variety of tools
Follow consistent data-wrangling practices to ensure data integrity
Process structured data and integrate datasets from various sources
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data understanding and proper data transformation
Work cross-functionally with development and engineering teams
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns and derive actionable insights
Develop efficient, high-quality code
Validate code and follow version-control standards
Manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
Communicate status and estimates to management and team members
Create meaningful, audience-appropriate data visualizations
Communicate technical information to senior management, clients, peers, and junior associates
Develop relationships with stakeholders inside and outside IT
Address analytic-process challenges and influence adoption of new tools and techniques
Gain stakeholder support for analytic solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Statistics, Analytics or related IT degree, or sufficient/equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytics environment for Sr Data Analyst
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an analytics environment for Principal Data Analyst
Expertise in SQL
Ability to work with large, complex datasets and draw conclusions and recommendations
Ability to partner, collaborate, and communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues
Hands-on experience constructing visual analytics
Experience with SAP products and/or Microsoft Power BI for Principal Data Analyst
Working knowledge of an analytics data warehouse
Working knowledge of a big data platform
Familiarity with statistics and probability fundamentals
Familiarity with data pipelines fundamentals
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to wrangle data
Comfort working with structured and unstructured data
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead a team for Principal Data Analyst
