About the role

Define and own the multi-year product strategy tied to company growth goals
Own the product roadmap across customer segments
Set direction, sequence work, and carry trade-offs
Drive timely decisions on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs
Hire, develop, and lead a team of product managers
Set the performance bar and create paths for team growth
Own and scale the product operating model from discovery through launch
Establish requirements standards, prioritization, and launch readiness
Partner with Engineering and Data Science to ship committed work on committed dates
Define success metrics for launches and report results afterward
Own the portfolio lifecycle from early concept to production
Decide what earns continued investment and what retires
Lead expansion into new markets and segments
Partner with Commercial and Product Marketing to bring evidenced customer problems to the roadmap
Provide Product Marketing with what it needs to take launches to market
Report to the Chief Product Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years in product management, including 10+ years of experience managing product managers
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Deep experience in health technology or clinical data platforms
A track record of shipping products that address customers’ pain points
Experience in a regulated environment, where HIPAA, PHI handling, traceability, and evidence requirements shape the design
Cross-functional influence: align Engineering, Data Science, Commercial, Product Marketing, and Medical Affairs without formal authority
Experience in diagnostics, specialty pharmacy, revenue cycle, or prior authorization and utilization management (bonus)
Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production (bonus)
Fluency with generative AI tools inside the product process itself: discovery, requirements, and documentation (bonus)
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, TEFCA, and NCPDP (bonus)
Familiarity with CMS prior-authorization rulemaking (bonus)
Experience scaling a product organization through rapid revenue growth and market expansions (bonus)
Must already have authorization to work in the United States
