About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and build production AI systems, including agent-based workflows, tool use, and multi-step reasoning
  • Develop and improve models across text, vision, and structured data
  • Fine-tune models and apply hybrid ML and LLM approaches
  • Work with hosted and self-hosted models
  • Contribute to model selection, performance, and cost decisions
  • Write clean, maintainable Python
  • Contribute to scalable and observable systems
  • Design evaluations, measure performance rigorously, and improve systems using real-world feedback
  • Use modern AI coding tools while maintaining high standards
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years building and shipping ML or AI-powered systems into production
  • Clean, testable Python and solid software design
  • Experience working in production environments
  • Experience with traditional ML and/or LLM systems, including prompting, tool use, evaluations, or agents
  • Ability to reason about accuracy, latency, cost, and reliability trade-offs
  • SQL and pandas
  • Experience working with messy real-world data
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools effectively
  • Proactive curiosity and ownership
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must work standard hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Availability for a final on-site interview at the London office
