About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across the Group
Take full ownership of close processes for the UK and US entities
Prepare and maintain monthly group consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
Prepare management accounts and supporting schedules
Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
Lead the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors
Own the general ledger and overall financial integrity of the business
Prepare monthly management reporting packs for executive leadership
Deliver analysis on financial performance, trends, variances, and KPIs
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting frameworks
Own end-to-end customer invoicing for enterprise customers
Partner with Commercial teams on billing accuracy, contract governance, and customer master data integrity
Monitor accounts receivable performance and support collections activities
Improve revenue recognition, billing controls, and invoicing processes
Implement finance process automation and streamline workflows
Lead finance systems enhancements and integrations
Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows
Establish scalable processes and controls for company growth
Provide day-to-day finance guidance across the organisation
Act as key deputy and trusted partner to the VP Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
6+ years of progressive finance experience
Experience managing month-end close, multi-entity accounting, and consolidation processes
Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth businesses
Experience implementing finance systems, automation initiatives, or transformation projects
Passion for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve finance processes and reporting
Familiarity with Xero, HubSpot, and modern finance technology stacks
Standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
