About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own revenue, profitability, and growth targets for the German sales territory
  • Identify and acquire suitable hospitals and establish reference and training centers
  • Position aXess with vascular surgeons, nephrologists, interventional physicians, and dialysis teams, communicating its clinical, technical, and health-economic benefits
  • Support users during implantations, dialysis training, and clinical applications as a Medical Device Consultant in accordance with Section 83 of the German Medical Devices Implementation Act (MPDG)
  • Lead pricing, contract, and procurement negotiations with hospital decision-makers
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and build a network of reference centers
  • Contribute to reimbursement, market access, and post-market clinical follow-up activities in the German hospital market
  • Prepare forecasts and territory analyses, maintain the CRM system, and communicate user feedback to international Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Product Development teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of sales experience with medical devices, ideally in vascular surgery, dialysis access, nephrology, or interventional vascular medicine
  • Qualification as a Medical Device Consultant under Section 83 of the MPDG—or the qualifications required to obtain it (completed education or degree in a natural science, medical, technical, or comparable field)
  • Experience supporting surgical procedures and/or clinical applications
  • Good understanding of procurement and reimbursement processes in the German hospital system
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong initiative, and the motivation to build a new market
  • Fluent German and excellent English skills, including confident negotiation abilities
  • Class B driver’s license
  • High willingness to travel throughout the sales territory
  • Existing network among vascular surgeons, nephrologists, or dialysis centers is an advantage
  • Experience launching new products or therapy categories is an advantage
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems is an advantage
