About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary People Experience partner to regional senior leadership across Cape Town and Johannesburg
  • Translate people strategy into practical business outcomes
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for all South Africa-based roles, from sourcing strategy to offer management
  • Manage statutory compliance and drive progress on the South African Employment Equity Plan
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver data-driven people plans aligned with regional and global priorities
  • Advise across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, remuneration, change management, and leadership coaching
  • Guide organisational design and leadership capability
  • Resolve complex employee relations matters
  • Deliver consistent people-program rollouts aligned with global strategy
  • Collaborate with regional leadership, global Centres of Excellence, and Talent Experience teams
  • Strengthen team performance and workplace culture through local insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong background in generalist HR or people business partnering within a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on talent acquisition expertise
  • Practical knowledge of South African employment legislation
  • Experience managing Employment Equity planning or statutory reporting
  • Ability to operate autonomously, balancing strategic alignment with operational execution
  • Ability to leverage data to inform people decisions, refine recruitment practices, and influence leadership outcomes
  • Ability to coach senior leaders through complex decisions, organisational change, and sensitive conversations
  • Adaptive approach to modern tools and technology
  • Current working rights for the country the role is based in
  • Satisfactory completion of relevant background checks, which may include credit and criminal history checks
