About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot systems and mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment conditions
Conduct preventative maintenance and manage parts inventory
Identify and remedy safety issues involving company- and customer-owned equipment
Interface directly with customers
Work at multiple sites and with multiple technologies
Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture
Take care of company property
Demonstrate innovation, accountability, and empowerment
Function in a team environment
Work with direct supervision and independently when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Some travel required
20%-80% travel depending on division & location, including overnight stays away from home
HS diploma or equivalent
Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements
Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
Clean driving record
Work experience preferred
0 to 2 years of technical work experience, 1 year preferred
Electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion experience depending on business unit
Ability to work without direct supervision
Technically sound
Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
Customer service experience
Critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly
Ability to obtain required driving documentation and pass applicable driver requirements
