About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Xylem locations in Mulberry, Florida and surrounding areas by servicing and maintaining water and wastewater treatment equipment
- Operate, troubleshoot, service, and maintain water and wastewater treatment equipment on-site
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems, including motors, control panels, instrumentation, starters, sensors, and related components
- Work a general Monday–Friday day shift schedule
- Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of technical experience in municipal, industrial, or commercial environments with a strong emphasis on electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical equipment, including motors, starters, control panels, sensors, and associated components
- Exposure to process water, wastewater, or other industrial equipment systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize smart devices
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
- Ability to identify and address potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
