About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse operational challenges in the logistics organization and identify root causes
- Develop and refine logistics procedures aligned with organizational strategy, compliance requirements, and company policies
- Drive change initiatives that strengthen logistics performance across the region from analysis through implementation
- Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, assess gaps, and recommend practical solutions
- Build business cases for improvements, including cost-benefit and ROI
- Plan and coordinate improvement projects with departments, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Manage timelines, milestones, resources, and progress reporting
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
- Facilitate requirements sessions and stakeholder discussions
- Investigate existing procedures across European operating companies
- Collaborate with colleagues across different countries and cross-functional internal experts to identify best practices
- Turn findings into clear processes implemented consistently across Yokogawa offices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
- At least 2 years in a project management or process improvement role
- Experience coordinating project teams or workstreams
- A structured, analytical way of working
- Process modelling and mapping skills
- Clear communication and ability to facilitate discussions with stakeholders at different levels
- Organized, able to plan and deliver under deadlines
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Experience with ERP and logistics systems, ideally [ERP system] (nice to have)
- Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations (nice to have)
- Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or a similar certification (nice to have)
