About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for K–12 schools and school districts
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, referrals, networking, and lead generation
  • Conduct in-person meetings, virtual presentations, phone calls, and email outreach
  • Meet or exceed sales goals through pipeline management and disciplined sales execution
  • Identify and respond to RFPs and competitive bid opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and partnership agreements
  • Build trusted relationships with school leaders, administrators, and district stakeholders
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations communicating Yondr's solutions
  • Identify referral opportunities and expand regional market presence
  • Maintain customer records, pipeline activity, forecasts, and sales documentation in the CRM
  • Partner with Implementation, Customer Success, and Account Management teams on onboarding and handoffs
  • Participate in sales training, professional development, and product education
  • Represent Yondr at education conferences, trade shows, and industry events
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five (5) or more years of professional sales experience with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline development
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
  • Consultative, relationship-focused approach to selling
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with school administrators and executive-level decision-makers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and highly autonomous with excellent follow-through and accountability
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business productivity applications
  • Passion for Yondr's mission
  • Experience selling into the K–12 education market preferred
  • Experience presenting to school boards, district leadership teams, or educational organizations preferred
  • Familiarity with public sector purchasing processes and RFP responses preferred
  • Previous experience representing an organization at conferences, trade shows, or industry events preferred
  • Experience in solution-based or consultative B2B sales preferred
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by telephone
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Ability to transport sales materials, displays, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must be located in the Richmond, VA area
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; Yondr is unable to offer visa sponsorship
