About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor consumer behavior and market innovations in insurance, including Insurtechs and traditional market players
  • Analyze competitors to identify differentiation levers, new coverage options, and business opportunities
  • Combine market data with Youse’s internal metrics to inform product strategy
  • Create, enhance, and manage the Residential Insurance product portfolio, defining coverages, assistance services, deductibles, and policy terms and conditions
  • Ensure products align with the company’s growth objectives and market positioning
  • Partner with Pricing and Underwriting to balance price competitiveness, risk acceptance, and contribution margin
  • Monitor KPIs such as loss ratio, average premium, conversion, and churn
  • Propose ongoing product and pricing adjustments to ensure profitability and sustainable growth
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation, SUSEP regulations, and other regulatory requirements
  • Support the development and updating of General Conditions, Technical Notes, and other regulatory documents
  • Monitor legislative changes that may affect products or create new opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Growth on positioning, benefits communication, and customer acquisition
  • Work with Technology teams and Product Owners/Product Managers to translate business rules into system requirements and digital journeys

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In-depth knowledge of Residential Insurance products, including coverages, assistance services, market dynamics, and claims
  • Strong knowledge of the SUSEP regulatory framework and insurance regulations
  • Familiarity with pricing models, risk underwriting, and profitability metrics such as loss ratio and margin
  • Strong ability to turn data into decisions and propose innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Experience with Commercial Insurance products within the scope of this role is a plus
