About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop independent microservices for domain-specific problems
Manage the entire code development lifecycle, from planning with the product team through production deployment and impact monitoring
Solve problems and contribute to challenges faced by technology and product teams by sharing ideas, solutions, code, and architectures
Improve the software development experience at Gringo, including tools, test coverage, and code structure
Participate in software design discussions and decisions, leading initiatives and creating documentation
Build scalable, sustainable, user-focused solutions
Work with or learn technologies such as Node.js, Python, React Native, Flutter, and PostgreSQL
Help organize the software architecture to orchestrate the service architecture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in at least one programming language
Experience with APIs
Strong logical reasoning skills
Experience developing scalable, customer-focused mobile applications (not required, but a strong plus)
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (not required, but a strong plus)
Understanding of CI/CD (not required, but a strong plus)
Knowledge of containers and orchestration, such as Kubernetes (not required, but a strong plus)
Mobile development experience (not required, but a strong plus)
