About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Increase technology knowledge and skills, especially as related to Zebra's product portfolio
- Manage team-based work assignments
- Practice interpersonal skills through follow-up activities with day-to-day business contacts
- Gain and apply knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes in diverse situations
- Execute technical deliverables defined in each summer project plan
- Support key IT projects from various perspectives throughout the summer
- Interact with senior Information Technology leaders
- Participate actively in Zebra Internship Program activities, including summer outings, community service events, and zChats with Senior Leadership
- Complete projects assigned based on business need, candidate skills, and interests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current enrollment in a undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Sciences or related field
- Anticipated graduation date between May 2027-May 2029
- Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be flexible to work on assigned summer projects in IT focus areas including Database Administration, IT Enterprise Solutions, Zebra Software Licensing, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, Digital Automation & Innovation, or another assigned Zebra IT Function
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic familiarity with technology solutions
- Commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Adept understanding of Generative AI tools with a willingness to learn how to apply them
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
