About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze operational datasets to identify trends, track performance metrics, and support data-driven decisions
  • Assist in reviewing and improving existing workflows to drive operational efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks
  • Maintain and update reports, trackers, and visual dashboards to provide visibility on key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to address day-to-day operational needs and support ongoing initiatives
  • Execute a designated individual or team project and present actionable recommendations and findings to leadership
  • Develop planning, organizational, and leadership skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Business Management, Supply Chain Operations or similar
  • Must have an anticipated graduation date between May 2027 - December 2029
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Practical or academic project experience developing interactive dashboards and automated reports using Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, XLookup, VLookup, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, and basic data modeling
  • Prior internship, university research, or capstone project experience analyzing operational datasets to solve real-world business challenges
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative data into actionable business narratives and present insights to managers and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma principles
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Hybrid internship located in either Lincolnshire, Illinois or Holtsville, New York, with at least 3 days of in-office attendance
