About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent the Company in product demonstrations, training, and presentations on all equipment and configurations
  • Establish and maintain a distribution channel capable of achieving yearly goals
  • Supervise, train, and develop distributor sales and technical staff
  • Increase product margins
  • Generate timely quotations for customers and potential customers
  • Process and distribute sales leads from trade shows and promotional literature
  • Evaluate sales activities, progress, and results and take appropriate measures
  • Develop short- and long-term goals for value, market position, and profit on existing and new products
  • Provide the National Sales Manager with sales and performance reports
  • Provide information to order processing and service groups to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt payment
  • Follow up with customers after delivery
  • Guide and mentor distributor sales representatives to meet targets
  • Develop and execute yearly regional sales plans and monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets
  • Evaluate sales forecasting, activities, and progress
  • Strategically plan resources and opportunities
  • Interface with Production, Service, Engineering, and Management departments
  • Maintain current CRM (Act) sales opportunities and contacts
  • Abide by company policies and code of ethics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a reasonable commuting distance to the Santa Ana facility
  • Detail-oriented and accurate worker
  • Knowledge of facility systems and their technical requirements
  • Skilled at maintaining files and records – both paper and electronic
  • Familiar with the operation of a computer with a MS Windows operating system
  • High school diploma required
  • Must have valid US driver's license
  • Must have good negotiation skills
