Key responsibilities & impact
  • Protect the installed base of equipment and consumables and generate new business consumable/liquids sales
  • Commit to an annual sales budget and develop an annual business plan to achieve territory objectives
  • Forecast the monthly consumable/liquids pipeline
  • Report activities weekly and represent the company according to high standards of business ethics and professionalism
  • Communicate ideas, market trends, and competitive activities to management
  • Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas while managing within a specific expense budget
  • Work effectively in a team environment for lead sharing, installed base protection, new business sales, and account development
  • Conduct scheduled personalized sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room staff, and administration
  • Maintain, analyze, and use territory records and other information to organize, plan, execute, and measure results
  • Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration on product operation, utilization, and application
  • Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management regarding planned monthly sales activity
  • Operate a specific cost center to control sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable
  • Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates relating to opportunities, leads, and sales funnel
  • Develop and implement synergy opportunities among ZEISS companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and corporate partners
  • Develop and implement creative and profitable marketing approaches for representative-region demands
  • Furnish paperwork and requested information completely and promptly
  • Use and update SFDC, Concur, Fleet, and CurioZ

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent
  • Five plus (5+) years’ sales experience
  • High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management
  • Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills
  • Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license
  • Maintain currency of and adhere to applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures
  • Abide by state and federal employment laws
